Fort Saskatchewan Motorcycle Association

Meets 9 A.M. on Sunday, 50 weeks a year for breakfast at the Maple Tree Grill in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. The restaurant is located at the second set of lights on hwy 21 coming in from the south. At 10:30 A.M., weather permitting, our ride captains take us on that days ride. Everyone is welcome to join us for breakfast and or be there before 10:30 A.M. to ride along with us. We welcome all makes and models of bikes. The two Sundays we don't is reserved for our Christmas get together that changes year to year, where we announce the high milers for the year and Mothers Day we still ride but meet at the Nojack campground some meet at the Humpty's on the yellowhead for breakfast other wise see you at Nojack.

Cancer Ride History

For many years our club hosted a poker ride which took place annually much as it does today. In 1990 a close friend and club member succumbed to cancer after a lengthy battle. We decided at that time to do something to help others in a similar situation, as well as to remember a good friend lost.
In 1991 we held our very first Cancer Ride and Motorcycle Weekend, which we combined with the existing poker run . The ride encompasses a route of about 200 Kilometers through towns and hamlets around Fort Saskatchewan. Proceeds from the weekend are donated in our friends memory to the Cross Cancer institute For Cancer Research and Equipment. Over the past years we are happy to report the event has grown steadily. F.S.M.A. has become the second largest contributor from the ranks of the non-profit organizations raising money for the Cross Cancer Institute!

We look forward to an even greater success in the coming years. We have added games that our members or visitors children can take part in to make it a family event. We hope to see you and your family at our July Cancer Ride
